Celebrating the Homes and Spirit of Cincinnati’s Northside
A Beloved Tradition Since 1990
Since its start in 1990, the Northside House Tour has delighted thousands of Cincinnati-area residents by opening the doors to some of the neighborhood’s most distinctive private homes. Held every other year, this non-profit, volunteer-run event showcases up to a dozen residences selected for their architectural integrity, unique design, and personal flair. Supported by the Northside Community Council, the tour reflects a deep commitment to community pride and neighborhood storytelling. The 2026 Northside House Tour will take place on Sunday, September 23, from noon to 5:00 p.m.

From elegant American foursquares and mid-century modern classics to contemporary, LEED-certified homes, the Northside House Tour highlights the architectural diversity that defines this vibrant neighborhood. Northside has been dubbed “a casually hip destination” by The New York Times and “the It Girl of Cincinnati neighborhoods” by Cincinnati Magazine—recognition fueled by rising home values, a thriving arts scene, and destination dining and music venues. Yet at its core, the tour underscores what has always made Northside special: a strong community spirit, a DIY ethos, and residents who value creativity, individuality, and connection as much as curb appeal.
